The Balloon 5/15/20 by Debra Tucker debratucker518@sbcglobal.net

Everybody’s Brandon has a generous heart. When he was only four years old, in a stage where most kids will be, “Mine, mine, mine...”
Brandon was just the opposite. Yes, he loved to receive gifts, but he had great compassion, and loved to give too. One day Brandon had a helium balloon.  He was so happy to have this carefree balloon. He saw a little girl about his age crying, because she did not have a balloon. Without a hesitation, Brandon ran over to her and gave his only balloon to her!! That is just how Brandon was.

As we sat quarantined outside of the hospital, due to covid-19, (while our son was having his second round of surgeries within three days), we sat alone in the ghost town patio area. The only sign if life was an occasional nurse or doctor who would walk by. Just about everyone would act as if we did not exist. No one smiled, no one gave a head nod. It felt like we were invisible. There was a sense like we were the “bad guys” for being outside without a mask on. (Although phase one of covid-19 reopening was already in place).

We just sat, prayed, sang, stood on God’s Word, and watched for a glimpse of our son who was locked behind the walls of the hospital. We could see the hallway through the glass walls of the building. The surgery patients were wheeled down that hallway after surgery. Suddenly, we looked up, and I am pretty darn sure that our Brandon was being transported down the hall!!
I snapped a picture, went over to the walls of the building, laid hands on the walls of the building, and played a recording of a healing prayer specifically for Brandon. (It was by our dear friend Pastor John, who is from Kenya).

The Word of God says to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover!!! We could not enter the building, but I could sit three stories directly below our son, and touch the building, that would touch the floor that he was on, that would touch the gurney that he was on, that would touch him.

When God formed the world, He spoke it into existence! God’s Word is powerful!! Find a promise of God, and stand on His Word. Remind God of the promises that he has for you. He has promise of life, and a life abundantly. In this time of world crisis God wants you to stand!! Don’t listen to the lies of the enemy!

Because of this, you must wear ALL of the armor that God provides, so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things, and will rise VICTORIOUS!!
Ephesians 6:13 TPT

Everybody’s Brandon is hopefully finished with surgeries for awhile! Please pray that his mind will be perfect !! With God’s and everyone else’s help, these are the following miracles:1. Survived a 65 mph impact by a truck 2. Left the truck undrivable 3. Few broken bones, (fibula, ankle, hard palate, orbital bone) 4. Severed vein, a couple of repairable bad lacerations 5. No neck or spine damage 6. CT scan good 7. Eye sight good 8. Responding to commands 9. Breathing on his own. He is fighting to come back to his wife and to his kids! I pray that you will be encouraged today, that you will have peace today, and that you will laugh today!!!

So excited to hear that Brandon spoke and knows his birth date. He is feeling your presence through that wall, the window. Praying for his quick recovery and trip home
